I can’t believe there is only one day left of the 2011-2012
school year! What a wonderful year
it has been! It sure did fly by,
didn’t it?
Thank You
Our end of the year party was a huge success! From running around on the playgrounds,
to swimming, playing games and sliding in the pool, to stuffing our faces with
pizza and lemonade, it was a blast!
Thank you to all of the parents who helped in organizing the event,
especially to Mr. and Mrs. Ferri.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of
the students (and parents) who contributed to making my beautiful AISD 2B
Memory Book! The things that the
students wrote and the pictures they included really warmed my heart. I am truly going to miss this
class! The soaps are perfect, as
my husband and I just moved into a new apartment and are low on toiletries. The
mini-pearl necklace is simply gorgeous and I can’t wait to show it off during vacation
this summer! Thank you to
everyone! I am so spoiled by this
class!
Leaving Students
On a melancholy note, we are sad to be saying goodbye to
four additional students following Aryaman’s departure three weeks ago. Jae Bin, Sebastian Sumedha, Sandor and
Leo will not be returning to AISD next year. We will not focus on the sadness of their leaving, but
instead remember all of the happy times we had with them in class and be glad
we have grown to know them! We
will have a small goodbye ceremony on the last day of school to wish them luck
at their new schools.
TUSI
Teach Us Something Interesting! Over the last three days, our students have been working
hard- not on lessons I have prepared, but on lessons THEY have prepared. From origami to jump roping, to magic
tricks to food preparation, they have really introduced some fun new learning
opportunities this week! What a
great way to end a strong year.
Last Day of School
On the last day of school, students will be dismissed at
11:00am. They will be taking
report cards home at this time including MAP scores. USBs with pictures and
files from the school year will be sent home as well.
Enjoy your summer and be sure to keep in touch whether you
stay or leave AISD! What an
amazing year it’s been!
Whhhhhooooo Hoooooooo!
